I’ve not written anything on my blog yet this month. And there’s a reason for that.
I recently found out that my friend Rachael is fighting cancer and that she’s been writing a very powerful and enlightening blog about her fight with the Big C. It’s a moving, but inspirational, read and it’s helping her get through what is an extremely hard time.
Once you’ve read something this honest and this emotional, sitting down to write about the annoyances of supermarket queues, or bad usage of commas (like I usually do), seems a bit weak, a bit self-indulgent and a bit daft.
So, this month I’d urge you to read Rachael’s blog. Find out about her story, support her fundraising and wish her well on her journey to kick cancer’s arse.
