Here’s a quick overview of what I do, from freelance writing and voiceover
services for business clients, to making music and writing books.
Content writer and consultant:
Over the years, I’ve worked as a content writer, content consultant, digital marketer, communications specialist, editor, brand trainer and social media writer.
I’ve been freelancing as CommsBreakdown since 2014, working with clients to define their brand, tell their business story and create highly engaging content.
My specialisms are fintech, accounting tech and tech startups, but I’ve also written content for the food, telecommunications and recruitment sectors.

Music producer and remixer:
In a past life, I was a recording studio teaboy, a drum & bass artist, and a producer and remixer for the renowned Black Dog Productions.
I’ve been making electronic music under the CommsBreakdown alias since 2024, making leftfield electronica, ambient, downtempo, techno, drum & bass and post-rock styles across several albums, EPs and singles.
I’m open to commissions and remixes, if you need bespoke music for your project.
Voiceover artist:
I’ve worked with clients to write video scripts, perform and record voiceovers (VO) and edit the audio for their social media posts.

Outside of my B2B content writing, I’m also the author of several non-fiction books aimed at small business owners and freelancers.

I’ve also published my first fiction book for younger readers. The book is called ‘Meet The Guttafawlk’ and it’s a tale of tiny, fairy ecowarriors on a mission to save Mother Nature and Planet Earth from disaster.
I spent most of my life living and working in the UK. As a family, we moved to Australia in 2022 and now live in the Southern Highlands, New South Wales.
In my spare time you’ll find me reading, running, cooking and locking myself away in my home studio to make more music.
